O was not interested in sorting by color today, but she joined in with me a little once I started the activity. I hope she'll enjoy it more next time :)
I have similar sorting cards. Bear isn't interested either for now, but I find that if I present her with fewer cards she doesn't mind as much. Sometimes the sheer volume of all the cards deters their interest (imo).
I downloaded the cards from a blog somewhere. I've been searching and can't find it. If anyone knows where they came from, let me know. I thought it was either One Little, Two Little or Walk Beside Me, but I couldn't find it. I'll look more and link to it if I find it. The girl who painted trees- I think you are right. I know O could sort all of the cards, so I put them all out, but she was probably overwhelmed by the number :) I'll only offer 3 or 4 sets next time.
Do you use a home color printer and / or home laminator? We are leaving our Montessori preschool because of a tuition hike, but that leaves me some funds to set up a home "school" for some part time activities. I think that both a printer and laminator will be useful, but curious if you do yours at home.
Thanks, Evenspor. I thought that I might have gotten the cards from your blog, but I guess not. I don't know where mine came from.
Karen- Yes, purple is missing! Your son is very observant :) I have a photo printer and laminator. My laminator was one of my favorite Christmas presents ever!

Did you make these cards yourself?

It's not the exact one that Melissa has, but I downloaded a similar one for my 2-year-old at http://www.scribd.com/doc/11903739/Color-Matching-Cards
I have some on my blog, but not those particular ones:
