A Simple Baby Toy

E LOVES her new toy! I put 4 of O's beads onto a piece of elastic and knotted it at both ends. E grins, laughs, waves her arms, and kicks her feet in excitement when I pull the beads apart and clack them back together. More than anything she loves to chew on the elastic knots :)

What a great idea. I'm going to head to the bead store tomorrow. The only cheap toy that I have made our son is putting pennies in an empty water bottle. It's a cheap rattle and he loves it.

Our little Belle had the exact same pink Carter's sleeper, she outgrew it a few months ago.
So cute!
Great Idea with the beads!

I love those beads. Where did you get such large and interesting beads?

More than the toy I love the elephant carters outfit. Jem had the same one, it was one of my favorites!

The beads came from a bead snake lacing toy made by Ryan's Room.

Uhh, am gonna have to try that. Do you have more ideas for baby toys? I find the bought stuff usually not very helpful ...
