Half Birthday Treats

O recently celebrated her 4 and a half birthday.  We always have a small celebration for half birthdays, and this year she got to celebrate at school!  Since O has a summer birthday, she was able to walk around the sun (a candle) holding the globe with her baby pictures for her half birthday.  She was so excited and proud, and so were we!

Here are a few of the half birthday surprises that her grandparents gave her.

Aww how sweet! We will be celebrating Maddie's 1/2 birthday tomorrow with a half of a birthday cake! I love the idea of celebrating the half birthday in school especially with summer babies!

That's so sweet, I might have to celebrate my daughter's birthday like this!

My mom did half birthday's for me growing up. I still love to remember when it is my half birthday. My older two girls were born on Oct 24 and Apr 24 so one has a birthday and the other a half birthday. They love to share that about the day.

Nice.:-) Great way to celebrate half's birthday. I haven't thought about this idea for my kids as we only celebrate every year's birthday. Thanks for the idea. I'll try it this time.:-)
