was the Wedgits set that I bought for 2.50 at a second hand shop (Once Upon a Child) this summer! Christmas could be so simple and inexpensive if only I would let it!!!
my girls have this at their school - even for the grade 2-4's. my four year old loves to play with it when we drop the older girls off at school. I've never seen them for sale though before, I should look around.

Don't you just love those things! Later you can buy all the cards for some more challenging creations.
This toy looks like it could fill hours with fun.
