If O is four, I bet she'd enjoy making origami message stars like the ones my kids learned to make at kindergarten. Very simple, yet geometrically interesting--three folded triangles become a star, one of which opens so you can write a message inside. Done with gold or silver foil paper, they make cute present name tags, too!
