It's a summer of E babies! Two of our friends recently had baby girls whose names begin with E, and our Little Kicker will likely have an E name, too. To make these onesies, I printed an e on the computer to use as a pattern. I made the gift onesies to match another handmade gift that I'll post about soon, and I made Little Kicker's onesie to match O's O shirt.
I love it! Our little one starts with an "e" too.
ReplyDeleteThey are just too cute!
I love going to dafont.com to get great free fonts for applique projects!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa, I was just wondering...I use the same tequnique as you for applique but I always sew round the edges afterwards, if you don't sew it does it still stay on OK?
ReplyDeleteJo- They are holding up so far. I'm sure they won't hold us as well as sewing them, but it's so much easier and faster :) According to the directions from my book, you don't need to sew the edges. We'll see...
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa, I will give it a go and see what happens, I have a '4' T-shirt to make soon.
ReplyDeletewhy are e names popular?? I heard somewhere that you cant say a word starting with E without smiling.. The E sound makes you smile whether you want to or not....so E names give us the warm fuzzies :)
