Happy Birthday, O!

Happy Birthday, O! I can't believe you are 2! Its almost 1am, and Elliott and I are busy getting ready for O's birthday. Elliott is putting together her kitchen set that we bought in February. I set up her place at the table with her birthday crown (its missing the ribbon, but we'll finish it before her party on Sunday), wooden cake, birthday ring, and her 1st birthday block puzzle.
I taped balloons to all of our chairs. She is going to be SO EXCITED when she wakes up in the morning and sees everything. We have a busy day planned for O (storytime at the library, picnic with family and friends, and then swimming and playing in a small spray park), but I'll try to post pics tomorrow night :)

  14. Thanks for all of the sweet comments :)
Sako- I made the picture block puzzle using 5 wooden blocks, pictures, and mod podge. It was easy and fun. I can tell you more about it if you are interested. All of the pictures are from her 1st birthday party. I think I'll make another one with pictures from this past year. I wish the 1st one had pictures from her 1st year instead of just her 1st bday party, but I guess I can just make another one :)
Jo- I ordered the birthday ring last year from The Wooden Wagon. I debated about it for months and months because I was hesitant to spend the money, but then I realized that it really wasn't much since we'll be using it for 12 years for O, and hopefully we'll use it for any future children as well. I have 4 pictures in it which show her growth since birth, which is my favorite part :)
Thanks again for the nice comments!

I love that you have made photos of O to put in the wooden birthday ring - what a great idea! Plus, I really *must* lash out & buy myself a copy of Soule Mama's book - it is mentioned so highly by everyone who has a copy!
