This blog was starting to stress me out a little...I wanted to do a post each day, but I didn't like the pressure of having to sit down at the computer and actually do the post (even though it takes a very minimal amount of time). I don't work well under pressure, so I decided that I would start saving my blog posts as drafts, so that I have a backlog and don't feel like I HAVE to write one each day. I now have 12 posts in draft, and blogging is fun again! So...if you noticed that the dates are a bit off (its not something I would ever notice, but just in case..) now you know why :)
Hey Melissa...I've been quietly lurking on your blog for some time now and have never commented until now.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to give you a head's up....you can actually set the time and date you want your post to appear instead of just saving it as a draft and it posting with the original date even thought it appears days later. Just click on "Post options" near the body window where your post is. There, you can change the date and time to schedule that particular post. Once you hit, PUBLISH, then it will go to the POST page where you will see it listed as "scheduled" with the necessary info. Hope that helps. Then again, I may have misunderstood you and you've got this all figured out already.
Thanks, jawan! I knew there was a way to do that, but I've never taken the time to figure out how. I'll have to try it :)
ReplyDeletejawan thank you so much that helps me out tons!!! thank you~

It's good to see that you post new posts everyday, but don't stress yourself out doing this. We want to see happy Melissa posting happy stuffs. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa, I have been stalking your blog for awhile, but I just received an Arte Y Pico blog award and I choose you as one of the blogs to pass it on to! I love reading about you and O and all your creative ideas for fun stuff to do with a toddler!
ReplyDeletehi there, I frequent your blog every so often and thought I'd give you a tip someone wrote over at Rocks in My Dryer, once.
ReplyDeleteBlogger Draft is a way to store up a bunch of posts and then to publish them whenever you date them.
So you could sit down tonight and write one for the next four days and put those dates on the bottom and they'll publish right when you want them, too!
It's different than regular Blogger, you have to go to Blogger DRAFT...
keep those posts comin'! I so enjoy them!
