That is so funny. Snow White was just playing with blocks and rocks this morning. I do not have any shells for her, but I am sure she would enjoy them! I have never heard of the term "play silks" before, but googled it. My daughter loves a Tinkerbell dress up costume she got as a gift. I am sure It is similar too! I just do not have her dress-up items in the classroom. My classroom is small! Have a wonderful day!
Our unit blocks are made by Melissa and Doug. Here is the link http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-60-Piece-Standard-Blocks/dp/B00008W72D/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1243027725&sr=8-1 They are really great, and they are probably the most used "toy" in our house. Elliott complains because he always runs out of blocks before he finishes building his creations :)
Where did you purchase your blocks? That looks like an nice set.

That is so true! The kids love blocks. The battery operated toys only tickle their fancies for a few days!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! That's exactly the kind of thing that I used to do when I was little. :)
