Magnetic Dress-Up Dolls

O LOVES her new magnetic wooden dress-up dolls! These were a birthday gift, and they are definitely one of her most played with gifts :) She plays with these dolls everyday, and I am planning on eventually making an O doll that is the same size. So many plans, so little time... The dolls are made by Melissa and Doug. They are very sturdy and will last a long time...if we don't lose the pieces :)

  2. We have the Princess ones too, Snow White loves them. I love the idea of making a doll that looks like her, thanks for the idea!

  3. I just smile when I read your blog. It sounds so much like my family. My daughter also loves the M&D magnetic dolls. She has the princess and the ballerina, and we keep all of the pieces (dolls, stands, accessories) in a plastic bin with a lid. :-) She uses the trays in her play kitchen.

We have also enjoyed the IKEA abacus that you wrote about in your last post.

  4. I always see these and wonder about them. We don't have a girl yet but now that I know they are a hit, I think they would be great birthday gifts!

  5. I have the M&D Ballerina ones, and my 7 and 9 year old still play with them sometimes.

I've even been known to play with them a bit myself! LOL

  6. We have those :) We keep our pieces in a little baggie instead of just in the box they came in.

  10. There are also really cute felt dolls where you can send the picture of the child to have it made into a felt paper doll, from Story Time Felts! :) http://www.funfelt.com/photo-dolls.html Just another idea if you are looking for something with a picture! So cute!

  13. We have a couple of these doll sets. I ditched the open box that they came with. Wipes Boxes work much better.
