O loves to match colors! I laminated construction paper and then cut it in half to make matching pairs. O has fun learning her colors and matching the cards.
We do a similar game... we set out the construction paper, and then run through the house trying to find things that are the same color. Once we find, say, a red toy truck, we put it on the red paper. Once all the sheets have three or four things, we sit down and talk about it.
