Number Wheel Activity

I downloaded this great number wheel activity from Homeschool Share, and O LOVES it! After printing the number wheel, I laminated it before cutting it out. Then I wrote the numbers 1 through 10 (using a sharpie) on 10 clothes pins. O counted the dots, found the correct clothes pin, and clipped the clothes pin to the wheel. She was a little unsure of a few numbers, so this was a great way for her to practice recognizing her numbers.

  1. Love this idea. I have been thinking about purchasing a laminator. Can you make any recommendations?

  2. I have wanted a laminator as well-for homeschooling- where do you get one for reasonable price?

  5. Easy to put together and cool - it's a home run! :>) I linked to this on my weekly roundup - thanks for sharing!

PS - I'm interested in laminator thoughts, too.

  7. Loving the clothespins idea! I'm not sure about using a wheel, however--does the circle add to the mathematical experience? Our Montessori uses a line that goes in the order of the number line (also helps in internalizing that order!).
