Homemade Christmas Gifts

I love making homemade gifts for Christmas, and I am getting off to a good start this year. I finished a counting book for O today, and Guh-guh and I made this pouch sling for O to carry her babies. We are planning on making a matching one for Marg. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make and how good it looked! What gifts are you making this Christmas? (I'm always looking for more good ideas!)

  1. I love your blog, it's wonderful! I'm wondering how you made the baby book? If you don't mind sharing! :)

  2. THanks! I ordered a blank board book from www.barebooks.com. Then I printed pictures, cut around them closely, and glued the pictures into the book. I put a layer of mod podge over the cover picture, but it would have made the pages stick within the book. I bought spray to protect the pictures within the book, but I haven't sprayed them yet.

  5. Thanks for sharing your ideas! I'd love to make a baby sling for my niece. Where did you get the pattern? I've seen a few online but none as nice as that one!

  6. We didn't use a pattern (we almost never do!). I measured around the girls to get the length, and then just cut the same shape of my sling. It worked. Email me if you want more details :)
