Chasing Cheerios

E occasionally gets stuck under chairs as she is crawling about the house. I usually try to let her figure out how to get out by herself as it is very good for her brain to do this type of motor planning. However, she was too upset this time, so we had to help her out. O lifted the top off the chair so that E could stand up, and I lifted her up. Poor baby.

  1. She looks so sad! I'm happy to hear that you usually allow her to get her out of sticky situations, however. I do the same with my children, and I can tell it really bothers some people that I let them be until they actually ask for help.

  2. Oh my goodness! She looks so pitiful. Big Sis saves the day. :) Love it.

  3. My tiniest is 9mo & she does the same thing...loves to see what Mama's hiding under the couch, chairs, etc. She is usually happy to be left alone to explore & find her own way back out...if she isn't we help her of course.
