Magnetic Drawing Board
E LOVES this magnetic drawing board. I bought it for O from Target about 3 years ago, and it has been used by both girls often. E asks us to draw cats and dogs for her, but she mainly just likes to "daw" (draw) by herself. I love that she has a no mess way to draw (she can't resist tasting markers, crayons, paint, and pencils, and she has drawn with a pencil all over my kitchen table).
I'm not sure if you can tell, but E is wearing mittens on her feet in this picture. She insisted that she wear them on her feet, and she wore them like this all day. I love my silly girl!

Ahhh love her mitten socks :) My little one loves her magnetic drawing board too. I found a couple of mini size ones in a thrift shop. It's perfect for keeping her happy in the car and one in the diaper bag for when we go for meals etc.... LOVE THEM!ReplyDelete
I love the mittens on her feet! :)ReplyDelete
My boys had one of those boards when they were little. I'll have to look for one for my girls, I am sure they would love it.
We have 3 or 4 of these magnetic boards of varying sizes. Two for the car, two for home and they never collect dust! Best invention ever! And I just love the mittens on her feet! She is so much like my little 22 month old girl. In fact, both your girls have very similar personalities and interests as mine and that's why your blog is my favorite! Thanks for all of the great ideas! I'd love it if you made your ideas into an e-book, by season. I would invest in it for sure. I print out over half of the things you do anyway. :) Thanks again!ReplyDelete
Oooh, that is going onto my wishlist. My 18 month old is just starting to draw but then it turns into a meltdown when I won't let her eat the crayons, pens, whatever. I think this would be great for us!ReplyDelete
We just got 2 of these for our 2yo twins. Some of our friends were chiding us for not letting the kids get messy. Clearly these are people who don't spend a lot of time at our house :)ReplyDelete
What brand is this drawing board? It looks a lot nicer than the one I bought my daughter that is pretty much ruined after only a few months (Christmas).ReplyDelete
