O, E, and I had a great time taking nature walk to make an "on the go" nature collage last week. We took a glue stick and a rectangle cut from a cereal box outside with us. We glued various items to the rectangle as we found them.
This was a simple and fun activity that I'm sure we'll do again soon. Thanks to my friend, Rebecca, for this fun idea!!!
Good idea! I've tried taking my daughter with a basket and then glue the things on when we get home but she usually uses interest. The thought never occured to me to just take the glue with me. Thanks for the idea.ReplyDelete
Thank you for the idea. I can't quite seem to get our nature study going again, so this will be something simple to get the ball rolling.ReplyDelete
yeah, its so fun to combine art with outside play! We've done a nature collage with contact paper which really works well too!ReplyDelete
This is a fantastic idea--thanks for sharing. I'm starring this post, and I'm thinking we might try it.ReplyDelete
Thanks for the idea! We tried this yesterday and my daughter really enjoyed it. I've offered her all kinds of tempting collage materials before and she's never shown much interest, but running around the garden to find and choose things for herself seemed to make it much more fun for her!ReplyDelete
