My mom and I are finally making stuff with the tons of Christmas fabric that I buy each year (75% off) after Christmas. These sweet child sized napkins were our first project. I cut, and she sewed. We make a good team :)
These are a great idea. This is probably a dumb question but I'm just beginning to know how to sew, do you have a pattern for them or do you just know what to do by hand? I was just thinking about how I wanted to try and do away with as much paper product as I can. Thanks for any directions.
To make the napkins, I just decided on the size I wanted and cut a pattern from a cereal box. I cut around the cereal box with my rotary cutter, and my mom folded the edges, pinned, and sewed them. It was very quick and easy :)

ReplyDeleteThose are great! You can't go wrong shopping for Christmas fabric after Christmas. I think I'll stock up this year!
