O and I planted grass for our Easter/Spring centerpiece. She had fun finding her eggs in the grass :)
Gracie was especially excited about the grass. We're going to find a much larger container and keep grass all summer for Gracie to enjoy (on the 2nd story deck since she is an inside cat).
My kitties would love this...of course I'd have more cleaning up to do since they always barf after dining on grass but I may be a nice mommy and plant some for them anyway : )
My fuzzy-wuzzies love the grass, too! After we got married, my farmer hubs brought me a bucket of wheat seed. I plant it in a small pot (maybe 4" diameter?) and try to keep one going at all times. It only seems to last about a week, though, before withering. I'll be interested to know if yours does better than that.
You guys need one of these -a Nohohon solar powered Japanese bobble head. Our friend from Japan got our family one. We love watching it and growing the grass.
Lol our cats are the same way about grass. They love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea for a centerpiece! So simple, but springy & fun!
