We're Going on a Color Hunt!

O and I went on a color hunt today! We had lots of fun! I bought these bags at Hobby Lobby (40% off!) and filled them with objects of the same color. O and I took turns hiding the objects. She covered her eyes while I hid the objects, and then she carried the bag around while she found the objects (we only did one color at a time). She was so excited when she found each object :) Then it was her turn to hide the objects. She put them all in the same place, and then immediately squealed in excitement and showed me where they were when I uncovered my eyes!
Finding her 1st purple item!

  1. Cute idea! I am new to your blog. I love all your ideas that you share. I have a question. Do you have a specific time that you plan your activities for the week? Do you do something everyday? Is it structured? Where do you store all the things? I know it is a lot of questions but I would love to have feedback when you have time. chrissie80@charter.net

  6. Your blog is truly inspirational! I'm a previous teacher turned SHM with a two-year old! I'm officially a fan and think your ideas are incredible! I will be stealing many of these ideas and reading your blog faithfully from now on! I felt like we were already in a rut which doesn't make sense when they're at this fun stage!! Thanks for keeping up with this!

  7. Thanks for all of the comments!
Chrissie- I emailed you last night. Let me know if you didn't get it :)

Mama said- I try to do new activities with O every day or so. Lately, we're focusing on games and arts and crafts rather than Montessori, but we'll get back to our Montessori work soon!

Katie- I like to use lots of exclamation points, too!
